Memory: You can choose a configuration with up to 1 GB of memory. The choice of memory capacity depends on the complexity of tasks you are going to perform on your notebook. If you are looking for a notebook for standard office applications 256 MB would be enough, but if you need to work with multimedia presentations and heavy-duty spreadsheets ask for a configuration with 512 MB or higher memory capacity.

Optical Drive: DVD±RW/DVD+R9 is compatible with a wide range of formats, including both DVD+RW and DVD-RW discs, CD-RW discs, and dual-layer DVD+R discs.

Instant on function is notebook’s jewel. Activated by a dedicated button and without loading the operation system allows notebook Visconte 1200 to play music CDs, DVD video, and look through digital photos from a CD or a Flash-card. This function virtually transforms the notebook into a multipurpose device incorporating a portable DVD, MP3, CD player, and a photo viewer. Interestingly, the Instant on function can also be operated by an remote control unit (optional) turning the notebook into a portable home cinema.
